The Christie 4K40-RGBH is a 3DLP laser projector with native 4K resolution (4,096 x 2,160), up to 36,400 ANSI lumens, and a hybrid dual laser light source combining RGB laser and laser phosphor technology, designed for installations requiring high color accuracy, brightness, and image stability.

3DLP Technology and Native 4K Resolution

The projector is based on a 3DLP architecture and delivers native 4K resolution (4,096 x 2,160). Each pixel is physically reproduced, ensuring high detail and clearly defined image structure. Simultaneous color processing without a color wheel provides stable colors and consistent brightness.

Hybrid Laser Light Source: RGB and Phosphor

The hybrid light source combines RGB laser and laser phosphor technology within a single system. The RGB laser component generates primary colors directly, enabling an extended color gamut with high color accuracy. A phosphor-based laser component is used to increase overall brightness.

This combination delivers precise color reproduction alongside high light output, providing a balanced performance between color and brightness.

Brightness and Image Performance

With up to 36,400 ANSI lumens, the 4K40-RGBH provides high brightness for large-scale projections and environments with ambient light. The hybrid light source supports stable color performance even at high brightness levels.

Interchangeable Lens System and Throw Ratio

The projector is delivered as body only and supports a wide range of interchangeable lenses. This allows flexible adaptation to different projection distances and installation requirements.

Motorized zoom, focus, and lens shift as well as lens memory functions enable precise and repeatable setup. The projection distance is approximately calculated as image width x throw ratio.

Installation Features and Image Adjustment

Christie Twist is included for warping and blending. Christie Mystique is available as an option for camera-based automatic alignment. The projector is also compatible with the Christie Intelligent Camera.These features support precise setup and multi-projector installations.

Connectivity and Integration

The projector supports professional interfaces including 12G-SDI and additional digital inputs, enabling integration into existing AV infrastructures and handling of native 4K signals.

Operation and Reliability

The laser light source is designed for long-term operation and provides stable brightness over its lifetime. Combined with 3DLP technology, the system is suited for continuous operation with consistent image quality.
