The Dynamic Projection Institute Mirror Head MH11-L adds digitally controlled mirror mechanics to compatible Digital Projection projectors for dynamic projection redirection in professional AV, architectural and media environments. The system combines a projector-specific mounting platform with a motorized precision mirror and enables controlled movement of projection content across multiple projection surfaces within a room. Mirror Head MH11-L has been specifically developed for the Digital Projection E-Vision Laser series and supports dynamic projection environments in immersive installations, museums, architectural projection and event productions.

Dynamic projections for creative environments

Mirror Head MH11-L enables active movement of projection content within defined installation environments. Content can dynamically switch between walls, floors and ceiling surfaces or move throughout a space. This allows a single projector to cover multiple projection zones while enabling kinetic projection concepts and immersive staging environments. The high-resolution PAN/TILT control supports precise and repeatable movement workflows within complex projection environments.

Optimized for the Digital Projection E-Vision Laser series

The mirror mechanics and mounting platform have been specifically designed for the Digital Projection E-Vision Laser series. Supported systems include E-Vision Laser 7500, 8500, 9100, 10K, 13000, 15000 as well as E-Vision Laser 11000 4K-UHD and E-Vision Laser 4K-UHD projectors. Compatible systems provide WUXGA resolution or 4K-UHD image output with brightness levels up to 15,000 lumens. For optimal optical performance, Dynamic Projection Institute recommends a throw ratio above 1.60:1.

Precise mirror control and professional integration

Control is handled via DMX-512 using 14 DMX channels as well as Art-Net, HTTP control and MQTT communication. High-resolution micro step motors with maintenance-free direct drive technology enable precise PAN/TILT movement with positioning accuracy around 0.01° and absolute reposition accuracy below 0.03°. The self-calibrating mirror positioning system supports repeatable projection workflows in professional show and installation environments. The pre-installed DPCC web interface enables browser-based control of dynamic projection scenarios.

Robust construction for professional applications

The construction is based on powder-coated steel mechanics with a specially coated front surface mirror providing approximately 98% reflectivity. The passive cooling system operates fanless inside the mirror mechanics. By using maintenance-free direct drive systems and eliminating conventional wear components, the system is designed for long-term professional architectural, media and event installations. Additional truss and wall mounting solutions support flexible integration within different projection environments.
