The Sony VPL-FHZ66 is a professional 3LCD laser projector featuring native WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200) and 6100 ANSI lumens. Combining Sony's BrightEra 3LCD technology with a long-life Z-Phosphor laser light source, it delivers natural colour reproduction, high brightness and low-maintenance operation. Equipped with a motorised standard lens, lens shift and support for optional interchangeable lenses, the VPL-FHZ66 is designed for a wide range of professional fixed-installation applications.

The VPL-FHZ66 features three 0.76-inch BrightEra LCD panels with native WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200). Its Z-Phosphor laser light source offers a recommended maintenance interval of up to 20,000 hours. Combined with Sony's Constant Brightness mode, it helps maintain consistent image quality throughout long operating periods. A contrast ratio of up to 500,000:1 delivers detailed, high-contrast images.

Flexible installation

The supplied standard lens features motorised zoom, focus and lens shift. With a throw ratio of 1.39-2.23:1, vertical lens shift from +60% to -5% and horizontal lens shift of ±32%, the projector offers excellent installation flexibility. It also supports optional interchangeable lenses, ±30° keystone correction and a wide range of installation configurations. Projection distance is approximately calculated as image width x throw ratio.

Professional connectivity

Connectivity includes HDMI, DVI-D, VGA, HDBaseT, LAN and RS232. HDBaseT enables video, audio and control signals to be transmitted over a single network cable, simplifying integration into professional AV infrastructures. The projector also supports a range of network management and control functions for centrally managed installations.
