The NEC PH1400U is a professional 3-Chip-DLP installation projector with 13,500 ANSI-Lumen and native WUXGA resolution (1,920 x 1,200). The dual-lamp system with two 465-W AC lamps combines high brightness with redundancy for demanding professional installations. Interchangeable lenses, motorized Lens Shift, Lens Memory, geometric correction, Edge Blending and stacking features provide extensive options for configuring complex projection systems. The projector is delivered as Body Only, without a lens.
3-Chip-DLP Technology and WUXGA Resolution
The 3-Chip-DLP technology processes the image with separate handling of the three primary colors and is designed for high image quality and reliable professional operation. With native 1,920 x 1,200 pixels in a 16:10 format, the PH1400U presents WUXGA content in detail. The high brightness of 13,500 ANSI-Lumen enables large-format projections even under demanding environmental conditions. The specified contrast ratio is 2,000:1.Dual-Lamp System for High Availability
As the light source, the PH1400U uses two 465-W AC lamps. The dual-lamp concept enables operation with both lamps as well as various single- and Eco operating modes. The stated lamp life is up to 2,500 hours or up to 3,000 hours in Eco mode. The NEC PH1400U is designed as Body Only for use with optional bayonet-interchangeable lenses. Available lenses range from 0.67:1 to 6.96:1, as well as the NP32ZL with 0.90-1.10:1. Motorized zoom and focus, horizontal and vertical Lens Shift, and Lens Memory facilitate precise setup and reproducible projection image positioning. For complex installations the PH1400U provides functions such as geometric correction, Edge Blending and stacking. This allows projection images to be adapted to different surfaces and multiple projectors to be combined into larger image systems. For signal input, including HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI, analog RGB ports, and a slot for optional STv2- or HD/SD-SDI modules. Control can be performed via RS-232 and network.
