The Christie DWU760-iS is a 1DLP laser projector with 6000 ANSI lumens, WUXGA resolution (1,920 x 1,200), and a fixed integrated zoom lens (1.25-2.00:1), designed for compact installations with defined projection parameters and low-maintenance operation.

Imaging Technology and Resolution

The projector is based on 1DLP technology using a 0.67" DMD and delivers native WUXGA resolution (1,920 x 1,200) in a 16:10 aspect ratio. Signal processing supports modern input formats and ensures stable, repeatable image output within the native panel resolution.

Brightness and Laser Light Source

With 6000 ANSI lumens, the DWU760-iS provides a clearly defined brightness level within the Inspire Series. Additionally, 7,150 ISO lumens are specified. The laser phosphor light source delivers up to 20,000 hours to 50% brightness and enables maintenance-free operation without lamp replacement.

Fixed Integrated Optics and Throw Ratio

The DWU760-iS features a permanently integrated zoom lens with a throw ratio of 1.25-2.00:1 and 1.6x zoom. Zoom and focus are motorized and can be precisely adjusted via the projector.The integrated optics are specifically matched to the projector platform, reducing system complexity by eliminating the need for interchangeable lenses. At the same time, they provide a defined projection range suitable for typical installation scenarios. The projection distance is approximately calculated as image width x throw ratio.

Installation Features and Image Adjustment

The projector supports vertical lens shift of +/-110% and horizontal lens shift of +/-50%, enabling flexible image positioning without mechanical repositioning. Integrated features such as Christie Twist for warping and blending are included, with optional Christie Mystique for automated camera-based alignment.

Operation and Reliability

The Inspire Series is designed for continuous operation. A sealed IP5X-rated optical engine reduces dust ingress and supports long-term image stability. Eco mode allows reduced brightness operation to extend lifetime and lower noise levels.

Connectivity and Integration

The DWU760-iS includes HDMI (including HDMI 2.0), HDBaseT, and additional standard interfaces, and can be integrated into network-based control systems. Support for AMX and Crestron simplifies integration into existing AV infrastructures.
