Christie DWU2400-JS-Neuware

The Christie DWU2400-JS is a 1DLP laser projector with 20,000 ANSI lumens, WUXGA resolution (1,920 x 1,200), and an interchangeable lens system, based on 0.8" HEP DMD technology, designed for installations requiring maximum brightness, flexible optics, and a compact form factor within the Jazz Series.

Imaging Technology and Resolution

The projector is based on a 1DLP platform with a 0.8" HEP DMD and delivers WUXGA resolution (1,920 x 1,200) in a 16:10 aspect ratio. It supports 4K input signals up to 3,840 x 2,160, which are internally processed to the native resolution.

Brightness and Laser Light Source

With 20,000 ANSI lumens, the DWU2400-JS delivers the highest brightness within the WUXGA models of the Jazz Series. The laser phosphor light source provides up to 20,000 hours to 50% brightness in standard mode and up to 50,000 hours in ECO1 mode, supporting low-maintenance continuous operation.

Interchangeable Lens System and Throw Ratio

The projector supports a wide interchangeable lens range from 0.34-0.37:1 up to 8.64-12.96:1, covering ultra-short to ultra-tele applications.

All compatible lenses support motorized zoom, focus, and lens shift. Lens memory is available with supported optics, enabling repeatable setup. The projection distance is approximately calculated as image width x throw ratio.

Installation Features and Image Adjustment

Christie Twist is included for warping and blending. Optional features include Twist Premium, Twist Pro, and Christie Mystique for camera-based automated alignment. The projector is also compatible with the Christie Intelligent Camera.

Motorized lens shift and stored lens parameters enable precise and repeatable installation workflows.

Compact Design and Integration

With dimensions of 600 x 520 x 193 mm and a weight of approximately 29.4 kg, the projector combines very high brightness with a compact design, simplifying handling and installation even in demanding environments.

Connectivity includes HDMI 2.0b, DisplayPort 1.2a, 3G-SDI, and HDBaseT for integration into professional AV systems.

Contrast and Image Processing

The projector delivers 1,500:1 native contrast and up to 25,000:1 dynamic contrast. With Christie RealBlack™ enabled, dynamic contrast can reach up to 4,000,000:1.
