Christie 4K1000-KS-Neuware

The Christie 4K1000-KS is a 1DLP laser projector with 8500 ANSI lumens, 4K UHD+ output (3,840 x 2,400), and an interchangeable lens system, based on 0.8" HEP DMD technology, designed for professional installations requiring flexibility, precise image processing, and continuous operation.

Imaging Technology and 4K UHD+ Output

The projector uses a 1DLP architecture with a 0.8" HEP DMD and delivers 4K UHD+ output at 3,840 x 2,400 pixels in a 16:10 aspect ratio. Native WUXGA resolution (1,920 x 1,200) is also supported. The platform is designed for high-resolution signal processing and ensures detailed image reproduction with stable geometry.

Brightness and Laser Light Source

With 8500 ANSI lumens and 10,050 ISO lumens, the 4K1000-KS provides defined brightness for professional AV applications. The laser phosphor light source delivers up to 20,000 hours to 50% brightness and up to 50,000 hours in ECO mode, enabling low-maintenance continuous operation.

Interchangeable Lens System and Throw Ratio

The projector supports a wide range of interchangeable lenses with throw ratios from 0.34-0.37:1 up to 4.80-8.64:1, including ultra-short throw, short throw, standard, and telephoto options.All supported lenses feature motorized zoom, focus, and lens shift with memory, allowing repeatable setup and flexible adaptation to installation requirements. The projection distance is approximately calculated as image width x throw ratio.

Contrast and Image Processing

The projector delivers a native contrast of 1,500:1 and up to 25,000:1 dynamic contrast. With Christie RealBlack™ enabled, dynamic contrast can reach up to 4,000,000:1, supporting detailed rendering of both bright and dark image areas.

Installation Features and System Integration

The 4K1000-KS supports omnidirectional operation and includes motorized lens shift with memory. Christie Twist™ is available for warping and blending, with optional Twist Premium, Twist Pro, and Christie Mystique™ for camera-based automated alignment.

The projector is also compatible with the Christie Intelligent Camera, supporting automated setup workflows.

Connectivity and Signal Processing

The projector includes HDMI 2.0b, DisplayPort 1.2a, 12G-SDI, and HDBaseT 3.0 inputs. It supports 4K signals up to 60 Hz and multiple 3D formats, including active and passive stereoscopic playback. Integration into control systems is supported via LAN, RS232, and compatibility with Crestron, PJLink, and AMX.
