The Panasonic PT-DW640 with its 6000 ANSI Lumen offers high brightness. 6000 ANSI Lumen will make vibrant and vivid projections at large conferences, fairs or at outdoor events like cinema or soccer. The Panasonic PT-DW640 thus plays in the 'event-league' and is also designed for continuous operation in theaters, churches and at expos. With its 6000 ANSI lumens, it can reproduce clear, sharp images even in bright rooms.
With a contrast ratio of 2500:1the colour depth is extremely saturated. Projections in dark rooms will be great fun.
With over 1m active pixels this projector has a native HDTV WXGA resolution of 1280x800px and an aspect ratio of 16:10. It can easily play multimedia content from Blu-ray, DVD, PC, or a receiver. The HD format is particularly suited for widescreen projections.
The projector works on Texas Instruments' DLP technology. The light is reflected by thousands of micro-mirrors (one mirror for each pixel). DLP technology stands for high contrast ratios and great luminosity, as well as a compact and light design.
The projector has an optical lens shift . This is a feature of a top quality projector, which allows you to shift the image of your projection without distortions, and without moving the projector.
The Warping function allows for an undistorted image display, even on an arched concave screen surface.
Also the Panasonic PT-DW640 has the Edge Blending feature making it suitable for multi-screen projections. Edge blending is used when the required image size can´t be covered by a single projector. Such images can be divided and displayed with multiple projectors with Edge Blending.
The Panasonic PT-DW640 is designed for professional long continuous operation in 23/7 or 24/7 mode. Only very few projectors offer this feature since it requires a very good lamp cooling system. More information on running times, maintenance intervals, etc., you can find in the manual or spec sheet of the projector.
The projector uses interchangeable lenses, giving you extreme flexibility to equip the projector with different optional lenses. It makes no difference whether you have to project at 2 meters or 50 meters distance, there is always a suitable lens for your requirements. Please ask us directly, stating your requirements. We stock all interchangeable lenses.
The lamp lifetime is 3000 hours. The current lamp running time is hours. At an average of 1.5h daily operation , a new lamp will run 6 years.
We offer projectors in different conditions. The Panasonic PT-DW640 on sale is in a 'NEW' condition. That means, it is an unused product with a new lamp. The projector may be packed neutrally, as we receive devices directly from the manufacturers in large quantities.
Note: our projectors are usually sold without lenses, frame or case. If you are interested in lenses and other accessories, we will be happy to advise you and make a personal offer.
