With a brightness of 5000 ANSI Lumen the Optoma W501 offers great light-output for your conferences and installations. 5000 ANSI Lumen make the Optoma W501 perfect for medium-sized conferences (<200 persons), at small expos, in museums, and churches and even outdoors at night. The Optoma W501 belongs in the conference class and is suitable for permanent installations.

Vibrant images through a very high contrast ratio of 15000:1 and a rich brightness of are key features of this high-end projector. The high contrast makes it the best choice for film projections or applications that require a high colour fidelity.

With over 1m active pixels this projector has a native HDTV WXGA resolution of 1280x800px and an aspect ratio of 16:10. It can easily play multimedia content from Blu-ray, DVD, PC, or a receiver. The HD format is particularly suited for widescreen projections.

The projector works on Texas Instruments' DLP technology. The light is reflected by thousands of micro-mirrors (one mirror for each pixel). DLP technology stands for high contrast ratios and great luminosity, as well as a compact and light design.

The Optoma W501 supports the Real Full HD 3D format (Blu-ray 3D format). The Full HD 3D format is the only 3D format without any quality loss. Both perspectives are merged in a full frame resolution of 1920x2205 pixels and transmitted through a HDMI v.1.4 connection from Blu-ray player to projector. Up until HDMI v.1.3 it was not possible to display subframes at such a high resolution. That's why Real Full HD 3D is not compatible with HDMI 1.3 cables . There are a few exceptions such as the Playstation 3.

The projector has an optical lens shift . This is a feature of a top quality projector, which allows you to shift the image of your projection without distortions, and without moving the projector.

Through the LAN RJ45 network connection the projector can be integrated directly into your network. This allows you to operate and maintain the device remotely. Some models will even send a email to you when errors occur (e.g.broken lamp).

The Optoma W501 has an ECO mode, which prolongs the lifespan of the lamp by reducing brightness, operating noise and power consumption of the projector.

The lamp lifetime is 4000 hours. The current lamp running time is 124 hours. At an average of 1.5h daily operation , a new lamp will run 8 years.

We offer projectors in different conditions. The Optoma W501 viewed here is in a 'B-Stock/As NEW' condition. This means the device is as good as new and has been either used for demo purposes only, or for a maximum of 500 hours. You are getting a first class projector with low running time at a great price discount.

Note: our projectors are usually sold without lenses, frame or case. If you are interested in lenses and other accessories, we will be happy to advise you and make a personal offer.
