The Epson ELPLU03S is a replaceable short-throw zoom lens designed specifically for Epson Pro series up to 20,000 lumens. With a variable throw ratio of 0.65-0.78:1 for devices up to 10,000 lumens, 0.48-0.57:1 on projectors from 10,000 to 20,000 lumens, and only 0.46-0.56:1 on the 4K-capable EB-PQ models, the optic delivers razor-sharp large images even in very tight spaces. The motorized zoom from 1.0 to 1.2 and the off-axis design allow image diagonals from 80 to 1,000 inches.
The ELPLU03S weighs only 2.2 kilograms and integrates seamlessly with the Epson control: focus, zoom and Lens-Shift can be adjusted via remote, network, or the projector GUI. This broadens the usage range of Epson laser projectors—from immersive dome projections to rear-projections at trade shows to permanent installations in theaters.
