The Christie ILS1 UHC 0,80–1,16:1 is the Ultra-High-Contrast (UHC) version of Christie’s variable wide-angle zoom for the M RGB platform, delivering a 0.80–1.16:1 throw range. Internal baffling and anti-flare coatings suppress stray light inside the optical path, yielding deeper blacks and higher ANSI contrast in controlled-light, immersive venues. Compared with the HB counterpart (118-130105-XX), transmission is intentionally lower to prioritise on-screen contrast and shadow detail at short throws.
As an ILS1 lens it auto-identifies on install and supports accurate storage/recall of focus, zoom and lens-shift presets—perfect for fast changeovers and precise multi-projector stacks. The flexible 0.80–1.16:1 ratio widens placement options from very short to moderate short-throw positions while maintaining full 4K clarity. Usable for M 4K25 RGB, M 4K+25 RGB and other M RGB models with the ILS1 mount.
