The Panasonic PT-DS100X with its 10600 ANSI Lumen offers high brightness. 10600 ANSI Lumen will make vibrant and vivid projections at large conferences, fairs or at outdoor events like cinema or soccer. The Panasonic PT-DS100X thus plays in the 'event-league' and is also designed for continuous operation in theaters, churches and at expos.
The contrast of the Panasonic PT-DS100X comes in at a very high 10000:1. The human eye can only recognize contrast ratios of 800:1 maximum. The high contrast ratio is particularly great for very dark rooms, as black will be displayed as a deep black on a bright projector.
With nearly 1.5m active pixels this projector has an SXGA+ resolution of 1400x1050px and an aspect ratio of 4:3. It can easily compete with HD projectors in widescreen format, since it surpasses their resolution by far. (only 1 m pixels).
The projector works on Texas Instruments' DLP technology. The light is reflected by thousands of micro-mirrors (one mirror for each pixel). DLP technology stands for high contrast ratios and great luminosity, as well as a compact and light design.
The projector has an optical lens shift . This is a feature of a top quality projector, which allows you to shift the image of your projection without distortions, and without moving the projector.
The Warping function allows for an undistorted image display, even on an arched concave screen surface.
Also the Panasonic PT-DS100X has the Edge Blending feature making it suitable for multi-screen projections. Edge blending is used when the required image size can´t be covered by a single projector. Such images can be divided and displayed with multiple projectors with Edge Blending.
The Panasonic PT-DS100X is designed for professional long continuous operation in 23/7 or 24/7 mode. Only very few projectors offer this feature since it requires a very good lamp cooling system. More information on running times, maintenance intervals, etc., you can find in the manual or spec sheet of the projector.
With a Dynamic Iris the projector has a much higher contrast ratio. In dark scenes the iris will reduce the light output, boosting the contrast to bright scenes automatically.
The Panasonic PT-DS100X has an ECO mode, which prolongs the lifespan of the lamp by reducing brightness, operating noise and power consumption of the projector.
