Projector Cleaning
Even with careful handling, dust will accumulate inside a projector over time. In the long run, this can lead to image defects, error messages, and failures. LCD projectors are particularly sensitive in this respect, and their service life can only be significantly extended through regular cleaning and maintenance.
In heavily soiled or smoke-exposed environments, image quality also deteriorates — in extreme cases, the projector may even shut itself down automatically to prevent damage.
Typical effects of contaminated projectors:
- decreasing brightness and contrast
- color casts or spots in the image
- overheating and automatic shutdown
- shortened service life (especially for LCD projectors)
Scope of cleaning (from 5,000 ANSI lumens)
For high-performance projectors from 5,000 ANSI lumens, we offer comprehensive internal cleaning.
This includes:
- cleaning of filters
- cleaning of air paths
- cleaning of the light path
- cleaning of lens, LCD panels, and polarizing filters
- cleaning of the DLP or DMD unit
- cleaning of the light channel
Replacement of wear parts
To achieve optimal image results, it may be necessary to replace the lamp, filters, or other wear parts. If this is required for your device, we will of course inform you in advance and provide a transparent quotation.
