Mirror Head 33 - Rental Edition

The Dynamic Projection Institute Mirror Head MH33 Rental Edition is a dynamically controllable mirror module for projectors in the Digital Projection TITAN Laser series. The system adds a highly precise PAN/TILT mirror control to compatible projectors, enabling dynamic redirection and positioning of projections within professional AV environments. By combining DMX and Art-Net control, a self-calibrating mirror mechanism, and a design specifically developed for rental, touring and event applications, the MH33 is suitable for Projection Mapping, immersive installations, architectural projections, live events and large-format media productions.

Dynamic Projections for the Digital Projection TITAN Platform

The MH33 extends compatible TITAN Laser projectors with a precisely controllable mirror mechanism, through which projections can be moved, aimed and recalled reproducibly. This allows content to be dynamically distributed across different projection surfaces or to realize complex projection sequences within an installation. The high-resolution 16-Bit PAN/TILT control enables motion accuracy of about 0,01° and an absolute repeat accuracy of less than 0,03°. The self-calibrating mirror positioning supports long-term precise projection results.

Rental Edition for High-Brightness Event Applications

The MH33 Rental Edition was designed for professional rental, touring and event environments where high-performance projectors are used. The construction supports integration into professional projector frames and rigging systems and enables quick mounting within temporary projection installations. This makes the system particularly suitable for large-format event productions, Projection Mapping, immersive experience worlds, trade show applications and temporary media installations with high brightness.

Professional Control and Show Integration

For integration into modern media control systems, the MH33 supports DMX-512 over 14 DMX channels, DMX-IN and DMX-OUT as well as Art-Net over RJ45. The high-resolution microstep motors with maintenance-free direct drive enable precise motion sequences with high repeatability. The control architecture has been specifically developed for professional show, media and event applications and can be flexibly integrated into existing control environments.

Front Surface Mirror for High-Performance Projection Systems

The MH33 uses a specially coated Front Surface Mirror with a reflectivity of about 98 %. The mirror system is designed for the requirements of the Digital Projection TITAN Laser platform and supports efficient redirection of the projection beam with high image quality. The passive cooling operates without additional fans inside the Mirror Head and supports quiet operation.

Compatible with the Digital Projection TITAN Laser Series

The MH33 was developed for selected projectors of the Digital Projection TITAN Laser platform. The combination of high light output and dynamic mirror control opens up a wide range of possibilities for immersive installations, architectural projections, large-scale projections and professional show applications. For operation, Dynamic Projection Institute recommends a minimum throw ratio of 1,40:1.
