The Appotronics AL-SU20KAP is a professional large venue laser projector from the S Pro Series featuring ALPD 5.0 RGBX Full-Color Laser technology, 20,000 ANSI lumens and WUXGA resolution (1,920 x 1,200). The combination of high brightness, extended color gamut, a fully sealed IP5X optical engine and a flexible interchangeable lens platform makes the projector suitable for demanding professional projection environments. The projector is supplied as Body Only and requires a separately available lens.

ALPD 5.0 RGBX Full-Color Laser

Appotronics ALPD 5.0 RGBX Full-Color Laser technology combines RGB laser and phosphor light source technologies. The system delivers color gamut coverage of up to 120% Rec.709, up to 100% DCI-P3 and up to 90% BT.2020. This enables accurate reproduction of wide-gamut content while maintaining consistent color performance. The technology is designed for professional applications where brightness, color stability and image consistency are critical.

20,000 ANSI Lumens for Large Projection Surfaces

With a brightness output of 20,000 ANSI lumens, the AL-SU20KAP is designed for large-scale projection applications. The WUXGA resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels provides precise image reproduction for visual content and graphics. Brightness uniformity of at least 95% supports even illumination across the entire screen, while a native contrast ratio of at least 1,600:1 contributes to clear differentiation between bright and dark image areas.

Extended Color Gamut and Consistent Image Quality

The ALPD 5.0 RGBX platform is designed to deliver high color performance. In addition to its wide color gamut coverage, the projector features a red ratio exceeding 22%, supporting balanced and differentiated color reproduction. Combined with high brightness uniformity, this contributes to consistent image quality across the full projection surface.

Flexible Lens Platform with Nine Lens Options

The AL-SU20KAP supports nine interchangeable lenses with throw ratios ranging from 0.36:1 to 6.84:1. This allows the projector to be adapted to a wide variety of projection distances and installation environments. The platform covers applications from ultra-short throw to telephoto projection while supporting a consistent deployment strategy across the S Pro Series.

360° Installation and Projection Mapping Applications

Support for 360° installation enables flexible projector positioning regardless of mounting orientation. Horizontal and vertical edge blending are available alongside advanced geometric correction tools including keystone correction, corner correction, curved surface correction and multi-point geometric correction with up to 33 x 33 control points.

IP5X Optical Engine for Long-Term Reliability

The fully sealed IP5X optical engine protects internal optical components from dust ingress and environmental influences. The multi-laser module architecture supports stable brightness performance and consistent image quality throughout the light source lifetime. The specified laser light source lifetime is up to 20,000 hours.

APCS Network Management

APCS (Appotronics Projector Control System) provides centralized monitoring and management functions for projector installations. The platform supports automatic device discovery, real-time status monitoring, scheduling functions, firmware updates and configuration management. This simplifies operation of both individual projectors and larger fleets.

Professional Connectivity Options

The AL-SU20KAP includes HDMI, DVI, HDBaseT, RS232 and RJ45 interfaces for professional AV integration. Dual HDMI inputs support automatic backup signal switching if the primary source is interrupted. Additional interfaces are available for 3D synchronization, multi-sync applications and external control systems.
