ReBeam dome lens 154° Christie GS-Series

This Fulldome Lens with a lens mount for the Christie GS Series has been developed for compatible Christie 0.67" single-chip DLP projectors. The telecentric fixed-focus optical design features a 3.5 mm focal length, an F2.2 aperture and manual focus, enabling Fulldome projection with a maximum vertical projection angle of 154°. Designed for professional dome applications, the lens provides uniform image projection across complete dome environments. The focus range extends from 600 mm to infinity.

Fulldome projection for professional applications

The lens has been developed for projection onto complete dome structures. When combined with compatible Christie projectors using the GS Series lens mount and 0.67" single-chip DLP technology, it achieves a maximum vertical projection angle of 154°. The lens is suitable for planetariums, science centres, museums and other immersive visualisation environments featuring dome-shaped projection surfaces.

Optical design and image performance

The lens features a focal length of 3.5 mm and an aperture of F2.2. The image circle is specified at 10.8 mm and optimized for 0.8" panels. MTF performance is rated at 66% in the center and 60% at the edge at 67 lp/mm, supporting consistent detail reproduction across the image. Lateral chromatic aberration is specified at less than 4 µm (R-G) and less than 2 µm (B-G). F-theta distortion is specified at a maximum of -1%.

This version features a lens mount for the Christie GS Series and is designed for compatible Christie 0.67" single-chip DLP projectors.
