Christie Eclipse G3 Demoware
The Christie Eclipse G3 sets a new standard in premium projection: native 4K with 6-Chip DLP™ technology, combined with an RGB-Laser light source. With a color gamut of around 98% Rec.2020 and a spectacular sequential contrast ratio of up to 20,000,000:1, this projector delivers the highest image dynamics and depth of field.
Thanks to the use of the ILS4 lenses (Intelligent Lens System), there is a choice between Ultra-High-Contrast and High-Brightness variants, allowing the system to be optimally tailored to the application. Additionally, classic High-Contrast lenses can be used to achieve maximum image depth.
The Eclipse G3 consistently delivers up to 30,000 ANSI lumens and retains 100% of its brightness for up to 50,000 operating hours. The native 4K resolution supports frame rates up to 120 Hz in 2D and active 3D at 60 Hz per eye.
For installations, the projector offers integrated Warping & Blending (Christie Twist™) as well as internal support for camera-based alignment with Mystique.
Additionally, other High-Contrast lenses can be used, enabling installations to be individually adapted to ambient room brightness, screen size and contrast requirements. The ILS4 system enables automatic recognition and electronic calibration of zoom, focus, and Lens-Shift, making setup and maintenance significantly easier.
Depending on the distance between projector and chiller, different hose lengths are used. All required components, including connecting hoses and cooling liquid (e.g. Christie Propylene Glycol 10 l, 163-130105-01), must be selected based on the project. Cooling occurs in a closed loop, which effectively dissipates waste heat and reduces operating noise from the projection room.
Due to its size and power consumption of up to 7,650 W, the Eclipse requires careful pre-planning and coordination before installation. The chiller is delivered separately and is mandatory for operation; installation location, hose length, and cooling medium should be coordinated with the distributor in advance to ensure an optimal integration.

Planning note:
The system automatically detects ILS4 lenses and precisely calibrates offset, zoom and focus via stepper-motor encoding. The Christie Eclipse G3 supports the modular ILS4 lens system, which is designed specifically for maximum optical precision. Available variants are Ultra-High-Contrast and High-Brightness, which can be optionally optimized for maximum black-depth or highest light output.Additionally, other High-Contrast lenses can be used, enabling installations to be individually adapted to ambient room brightness, screen size and contrast requirements. Chiller unit:
The Christie Eclipse G3 uses an external chiller system for precise liquid cooling of its RGB-Laser light source and optical assemblies. This system is an essential part of the projection unit and enables the Eclipse to maintain high performance under full-load conditions. The chiller is installed physically separate from the projector head and connected via flexible coolant lines.Depending on the distance between projector and chiller, different hose lengths are used.
