f-NUMBER

Also called projection ratio, ratio, or throw. It is the ratio of the projection distance to the image width. The multiplication of the number by the screen width is the distance between the projector and the screen. Therefore the width of the screen can be calculated if you divide the projection distance by the number. If two numbers are given (e.g.: 1.5-2.5:1), this means the projector has a zoom lens and the ratio can be varied within the specified range.
