The JVC DLA RS49 E/U has a brightness of 1200 ANSI Lumen and is perfectly suited for home-cinema and smaller presentations for up to 48 persons. The brightness of 1200 ANSI Lumen is well-suited for projections in dimmed or dark rooms. For bright, or daylight flooded rooms we recommend projectors with more brightness, which you can also find in our shop.
With a contrast ratio of 60000:1 you will experience high class images. A high contrast is important for the blackness. At this ratio black is truly black.
With nearly 2.1m active pixels this projector has a native Full HD resolution of 1920x1080px and an aspect ratio of 16:9. It can play perfectly high resolution multimedia content from Blu-ray, DVD, PC, or receiver. The Full HD format is particularly suited for widescreen projections.
The JVC DLA RS49 E/U works with LCoS technology (Liquid Crystal on Silicon), which is similar to LCD technology. Here however the light is not coloured directly, but is reflected from a coloured display. LCoS creates beautiful colours and tightly integrated pixels.
The JVC DLA RS49 E/U supports the Real Full HD 3D format (Blu-ray 3D format). The Full HD 3D format is the only 3D format without any quality loss. Both perspectives are merged in a full frame resolution of 1920x2205 pixels and transmitted through a HDMI v.1.4 connection from Blu-ray player to projector. Up until HDMI v.1.3 it was not possible to display subframes at such a high resolution. That's why Real Full HD 3D is not compatible with HDMI 1.3 cables . There are a few exceptions such as the Playstation 3.The < Beamername> supports the Real Full HD 3D format(Blu - ray 3D format). The Full HD 3D format is the only 3D format without any quality loss . The projector has an optical lens shift . This is a feature of a top quality projector, which allows you to shift the image of your projection without distortions, and without moving the projector.
